What If !? being a foreigner or stranger is mostly a concept ?
My daughter Analena gave me the idea when she was working on an organic farm, together with people with special needs. Also working there, are young Africans who are part of a South /North World exchange program.
Incredible what mutual caring, planning paired with respect, competence and the willingness to integration can create !
The Newbies with their easygoing, professional, warm spirited and get up and go attitudes are remarkably fitting and just wonderful.
Deeply touched by the connection and interaction of the newcomers with their special needs clients and the social workers of the Bruderhaus .
Nothing felt weird, foreign or strange
They were all navigating life, with everyones wonderful and unique specialties. Language and cultural bumps enhanced the experience for everybody.
Witnessing integration in action was quite amazing and a bit different as it is normally presented in media , politics and sometimes real life.
